Family Law The Family Law Specialist is Paula Evans, who has practiced in this area of Law since 2001. Paula is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and always complies with their code of conduct by taking a conciliatory approach to matters. We appreciate that the breakdown of a relationship is extremely distressing, and endeavour to provide a caring and supportive service whilst ensuring that the best possible outcome is achieved. It is essential for anyone who owns property or personal assets or, indeed, has children, to make a Will to ensure that their wishes are carried out on their death. The lack of a Will can cause additional difficulties for relatives at an already distressing time. Our charges for making a Will are as follows:- Single Will £130.00 plus VAT Joint Wills (Husband & Wife/Cohabitees) £180.00 plus VAT The above is based on straightforward instructions and the cost may vary depending upon the complexity. We are able to offer home visits for the elderly or infirm – please contact us for details. Probate We have all experienced the pain of losing a loved one, and we try to draw on this when advising Clients on Probate matters. We are willing to help Executors with part or all of the administration of Estates, which can help to make a difficult and, often confusing, task easier. Again, we are willing to offer home visits where applicable. Employment We understand that losing your job, particularly through no fault of your own, can be a devastating blow and can completely disrupt your life. We aim to provide clear advice as to how the Law affects you and what steps you can take to improve your situation.
